Overview

The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive Human Resources support to employees, leaders, and business operations. This role serves as a key HR point of contact, ensuring the effective execution of HR processes, employee relations, and policy implementation.

 

The HR Generalist will partner closely with Operations leadership and the HR team to address employee concerns, support business needs, ensure consistent application of company policies, and contribute to a positive and productive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for Operations leaders.
  • Provide guidance and support regarding employee concerns, workplace issues, policies, and HR procedures.
  • Conduct and document employee relations meetings and investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the administration of corrective actions and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Manage and follow up on day-to-day HR processes for assigned sites, campaigns, or employee populations.
  • Support audits and provide documentation or information required for internal and external reviews.
  • Coordinate and follow up on the onboarding process for in team supervisors and operations managers.
  • Support the implementation and communication of new or updated HR policies.
  • Coordinate monthly focus groups, coffee talks, or any other HR activity.
  • Gather employee feedback and identify recurring themes or opportunities that may require HR or Operations action.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Relations, or a related field.
  • English proficiency required; bilingual Spanish/English preferred depending on business needs. B2 or above english level.
  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in an HR Generalist, HRBP, or Employee Relations role.
  • Experience in a BPO, call center, or high-volume operational environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in Nicaraguan labor laws.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations, HR policies, labor practices, and HR processes.
  • Experience managing team performance and development, including coaching and performance improvement plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
