Overview

The HumanR Intern supports the HR Operations team by assisting with daily administrative and employee follow-up activities that help ensure timely attendance management and operational continuity. The role is primarily responsible for HR surveys completion and proactively contacting employees after two consecutive days of absence to confirm their return to work or obtain the required medical documentation, while also providing general administrative support to the HR Generalist. This position helps improve response times, maintain accurate employee records, and enhance the overall efficiency of HR services for a workforce of approximately 650 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Contact employees after two consecutive days of absence to verify their status and well-being.
  • Encourage employees to return to work when appropriate and provide guidance on the return-to-work process.
  • Follow up with employees regarding required medical documentation and ensure timely submission.
  • Track and document attendance follow-up activities accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Conduct HR onboarding surveys for newly promoted or hired supervisors.
  • Compile and analyze survey results to identify trends and opportunities to improve the onboarding experience.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Operations team on daily activities.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with the organization of HR documentation.
  • Support HR initiatives, special projects, and employee engagement activities as assigned.
  • Coordinate with the HR Generalist to ensure timely resolution of employee inquiries and operational requests.
  • Assist in maintaining efficient communication between HR and employees regarding operational needs.
  • Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure all sensitive HR data is managed securely and confidentially.
