This position falls under what we call staff augmentation, which is a vertical that supports specific and strategic roles for existing or potential clients across IBEX Global. Although the position is intended to be onsite, it will not provide direct support to IBEX Nicaragua, but rather to any client within the organization that requires this role.
The BI Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions and dashboards that support strategic and operational decisions across the company. This role requires a mix of technical expertise in data modeling, visualization, and ETL pipelines, as well as strong business acumen to translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership and field teams.
• Build and manage ETL processes to consolidate data from multiple systems (e.g.,CRM, ERP, scheduling platforms, customer databases).
• Ensure data quality and governance by implementing best practices for data validation, documentation, and access control.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards and reports to the business manage performance.
• Work across operations, finance, marketing, and customer experience teams to define requirements and deliver insights that turn business goals into actionable, data-driven results.
• Analyze business trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide insights to support strategic initiatives.
• Support the adoption of BI tools and data literacy initiatives across the organization
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data transformation and ingestion.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data modeling (e.g., star schema, snowflake, etc.).
• Experience and knowledge of APIs and data ingestion across SaaS & business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MS SQLServer, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with BI visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Microsoft BI & cloud tools (e.g., Azure, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience working in field services, HVAC, or home services industry is a plus.
